My name is Jessica Goolsby, and I’m a dedicated personal trainer and fitness professional with a passion for holistic well-being. I’m the proud owner and creator of Phoenix Fitness & Recovery, bringing together my Pilates certification, Registered Yoga Instructor certification, and NASM Certified Personal Trainer credential to support clients in feeling strong, confident, and resilient in their bodies.
My expertise lies in guiding individuals through tailored Reformer Pilates and personal training sessions that address both fitness and recovery needs. Many of my clients come to me after receiving clearance from their doctor or physical therapist, looking to safely begin—or return to—their fitness journey while still in the recovery phase from surgery or injury. Others, without specific injuries, seek me out when traditional workouts haven’t delivered the results they’re looking for.
Understanding that no two bodies are the same, I personalize each client’s reformer and training program to support recovery while building strength, stability, and confidence—both physically and mentally. The Pilates reformer is an especially powerful tool, allowing us to target specific muscles without the high impact of conventional workouts.
My own journey into Pilates and personal training began through injury. After receiving clearance from my physical therapist, I started reformer Pilates and was instantly hooked. I felt strength, healing, and connection in my body like never before. It was then that I knew I wanted to help others navigate their own recovery and transformation. I truly felt as though I had left my old body and mindset behind—and risen from the ashes.
